The MyHOME app aims to provide you with the right help, advice and information if you’re at risk of homelessness or are having housing difficulties. The app has been created in partnership between Leicester, Rutland, and the districts and boroughs of Leicestershire.
Further information
What can you do on MyHOME?
The app works by asking you questions on your current situation and then providing you advice based on your response.
- Enter information about your current housing situation and be given an action plan for services to contact.
- Get advice on looking for properties, money advice, dealing with repair issues, welfare rights and housing benefit and those discharged from the Armed Forces.
- If you later on make a homelessness application in Leicester City and have a caseworker, you can continue to use the app in a different way such as; send/receive documents, contact your officer and review your personalised housing plan.
If you are homeless, sleeping rough or require emergency housing advice, we advise you call us on 0116 454 1008, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
